A Raceless Face

Okay. We have
2 parents,
4 grandparents,
8 great-grandparents,
16 great-great grandparents,
32 great-great-great grandparents.

Five generations and we already have 62 ancestors.
And the numbers just keep getting bigger: 64, 128, 256, 512, 1,024.
Ten generations give us 2046 ancestors.
2,048, 4,096, 8,192, 16,384, 32,768.
At fifteen we're up to 65,534.
65,536, 131,072, 262,144, 524,288, 1,048,576.
In twenty generations we've acumulated 2,097,150 ancestors.
How many of your ancestors can you actually account for?
What were their ethnic backgrounds?
What race are you, actually? Does it really matter?
The only race that matters is the human race.
So put that on your census form.
